Frequently Asked Questions

How can I make an appointment?

Please feel free to call (Monday to Friday 9am - 6pm or leave a message during non-office hours), send an email or use the contact form below.

Do I need a GP referral?

No. You can come to see me without being referred by your general practitioner.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring a copy of your ID and insurance number, as well as a list of current medications. If possible, bring a copy of all diagnoses, images, and prescriptions.

Is the entrance to the office fully accessible?

There are two steps between the main entrance and the elevator, and another at the door to the office. Please let me know if you need assistance.

How long will my appointment last?

This depends on your specific case. I want you to feel fully comfortable about your treatment and am ready to answer all of your questions. The first consultation may take about 30-45 minutes.

Will my insurance cover the costs?

This is a private practice, not contracted for insurance plans. However, you can send the paid bill to your (Austrian) health insurance to receive a partial refund.

How can I pay in your practice?

Please be prepared to pay in cash or by bank transfer.

Do I need to take your prescription to my general practitioner first?

No, my prescriptions and referrals are accepted by pharmacies and insurances. Some forms (e.g. CT or MRI referral) need to be approved by the health insurance.
